1.      On dated 15.07.11 Guru Purnima function organized in Vidyalaya in which after in front of Maa Saraswati by Mr. H.H. Lal incharge Principle, students Prasshti Waghela Class VIIIth Teacher – Mr. H.B. Bhadu, TGT Hindi & Mr. Manoj Kumar PGT Bio, Mr. S.C. Meena expressed their views on this occasion. This programme was  telecasted on Akash Wani same day.

1.      English Spelling Competition held in Vidyalaya on dated 16.07.2011 which was co-ordinated by Mrs. Jyoti Bisnoi, TGT English & Convener of the programme was & Mr. Shriman Meena PGT English. The competition consist of 3 rounds & all student of various houses take keen interest in the competition and score was as below :

           IInd   Raman House          42 Points

         IIIrd   Ashoka House  23 Points            

1.  The Student of Class VI to XII demonstrate the parliament duty CCA  on dated 23.07.11 21 and it was really very interesting to see the students in form of Speaker, Minister & Member of opposition. The various activities performed by the students to simulate the real parliamentary proceedings.

The Annual Day Function 2011 was celebrated on 30 April 2011. Lt. Col. T.K. Rai was the Chief Guest and Major Purshotam was the Guest of Honour. The programme was started with Ganesh Vanadana and followed by action dance of primary students, Jashne Azadi Skits (Mangal Pandey, Tatya Tope, Jhansi Ki Rani), Taal Se Taal (Classical), Oriya Dance, Dandiya, Kabuliwala Skit, Kawwali, Group Song, Group Dance and Gangour Ki Sawari. Lt. Col. T.K. Rai gave away the prizes to meritorious students. All the items were prepared under the expert guidance of Mrs. Kamakshi Gehlot, Music Teacher and staff members of the vidyalaya. Mr. Manoj Kumar, PGT (Bio) coordinated the programme.

 To tribute to Nobel Laureate Prof. S. Chandrashekhar’s, a Quiz competition based on his work & life history was organized for the students of classes VI to VIII on 09/02/11. The winner team members of this competition i.e. Megha VII A, Anshu VII A, Manroop VIII B and Saraswat VIII A were awarded by cash prize of Rs.500. The competition was organized by Mr. Sunil Kumar, PGT (Phy) and Mr. K.N.Verma, TGT (Science) of this vidyalaya.

The cluster level Quiz competition was organized at K.V.No.1, AFS, Jodhpur, in which our vidyalaya team secured first position & Master Saraswat, VIII A was selected for Regional level Quiz competition held at Jaipur.

 In honour of Prof. S. Chandrashekhar’s birthday, a painting competition on “Chemistry in our daily life” was organized for the students of primary classes on 18/01/11. The winner of this competition was Master. Sunil Kumar, V B.

PTA meeting:

The Parent Teacher Association meetings were conducted in the Vidyalaya for class I to IX, XI on 10/12/2010, class X on 21/12/2010 and class XII on 22/12/2010, where parents interacted with the principal, class teachers and subject teachers to discuss about the progress of their ward.

Sports Day:

The vidyalaya has celebrated the Annual Sports day on 15.12.2010 with great enthusiasm. The vidyalaya invited Lt.Col. T.K. Rai as a Chief Guest for opening ceremony. The students enjoyed the Sports Day & participated with true sportsmen spirit.

KVS Foundation Day:

 KVS Foundation day was celebrated on dated 15/12/10 in the vidyalaya. Various cultural programs were performed by the students of junior section. Mr.Neeraj Khatri, Mrs. Mohini Ojha & Mr. H.B. Malav enlighten on various features, prospective & History of KVS. Mr.M.L.Beniwal, Principal said that we all the teachers & students put their all effort to achieve the goal for what this organization founded.

Essay competition:

 As per the instruction of CBSE, essay competitions on “Road Safety” and “Save Earth by vehicular pollution” were organized for classes IX to XII on 09/12/10 and 21/12/10.

National Consumer Protection Day:

The vidyalaya organized National Consumer Protection Day in the vidyalaya & various activities like Speech, Debate and Slogan competitions were organized in a planned manner on 20/12/10 and 21/12/10. Ms. Dheeraj Kaushal, PGT (Commerce) explained the various aspects & importance of Consumer Protection Act 1986.

Grand Parent’s Day:

A Grand Parent’s Day was organized on 30/11/2010 for the students of class I to V in the vidyalaya under the guidance of all primary teachers. The aim of function is to develop respect to elders among students. The function is well appreciated by all the parents.

Adolescence Education Program:

As per instruction of KVS(RO), Jaipur, various programs like poster competition, presentation speech contest and questioner round were organized under AEP in the vidyalaya campus in fourth week of November. On 27/11/2010, Dr. Sita Ram Parihar from District Hospital, Barmer gave his valuable speech to the students regarding adolescence. At last students asked their queries related to adolescence. The session was quite lively & interesting.

Inspection by EO, KVS(HQ):

The surprise inspection was held on 19/11/2010 by Mr. P.V. Sairanga Rao, EO, KVS (HQ), Delhi. He discussed with teachers and students regarding studies and motivated the students in a very nice way by sharing the various experiences of his life.

Bal Diwas:

Bal diwas was organized on 17/11/10 in the vidyalaya by all the students with joy & happiness. The students presented various cultural programs and enlighted about the Chacha Nehru.

Contractual Teacher Interview:

A walk-in interview was conducted on 04.11.10 for PGTs, TGT(Maths & English) and Computer Instructor to prepare a panel for the session 2010-11.

Quiz Competition:

A Quiz competition was organized on 30/10/2010 in the vidyalaya. In which 8 students from each house were participated. The questions were based on General Awareness, General Science, History, Games etc. The winner house of Quiz competition was Raman House.

Vidyalaya Panel Inspection:

The vidyalaya Annual Panel Inspection was held on 27/10/2010. Mr. H.C. Chawla, E.O, KVS (RO), Jaipur, Dr. P.S. Ahluwalia, Principal, K.V. No.2, Jaipur, Mr. A.S. Bhati, Principal, K.V. BSF, Jodhpur and Dr. R.K. Meena, Principal, K.V.BSF, Dabla were the members of team. The inspecting team appreciated the Scout and Guide activities, Programs of Morning Assembly and Teaching Learning Process of class rooms. They also advised that quantum of Home Work must be increased with proper correction work & the result of board classes should be good by both quantity and quality wise.

Vigilance Awareness Week:

As per the instruction of KVS, the Vigilance Awareness Week was organized from 25/10/10 to 01/11/10 in the vidyalaya. An oath was also taken by all the students and staff. The main focus is to create “Generation of awareness & publicity against corruption”. The banners and posters were created for prime locations of vidyalaya. A skit “Jaago Grahak Jaago” and quiz competition were also organized in the morning assembly.

PTA Meeting:

Social Science Exhibition:

A Vidyalaya level Social Science Exhibition was organized for class VI to XII on 01/10/2010. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. M.L. Beniwal, Principal. The students prepared various attractive models, charts, write ups and maps on famous places of Jammu & Kashmir & also took part in English & Hindi Debate and Skit Competitions . It was held under the proper guidance of Sh. M.L. Beniwal, Smt. Mohini Ojha, Sh. Gopa Ram, Sh. Y.K. Meena and Sh. M.C. Solanki.

Hindi Pakhwara:

The Hindi Pakhwara was celebrated in the vidyalaya campus from 14/09/10 to 27/09/10. The various activities were organized in this regard.

Student Council Investiture Ceremony:

As per KVS order the student council was formed in the vidyalaya & its investiture ceremony was organized on 18/09/10 in the vidyalaya campus. The Chief Guest of the function was Lt.Col. T.K. Rai. The members of student council take oath by Chief Guest and their House Master. The Chief Guest said to the members that power always bring responsibility with it. The Principal also delivered his speech regarding roles and responsibilities of student council. Finally the School Captain Mahendra Ratnoo (Boys) and Yoshita Kalla (Girls) gave vote of thanks.

Teacher Day:

Teacher day was celebrated in the school on 04/09/10 due to Sunday on 05/09/10. The function started with tribute to Dr. Radha Krishnan by the officiating Principal, teachers and students of the vidyalaya. The students of class XII played the role of teachers and taught the students from class I to XI. The students also present some cultural programs. At the end, the best student teachers were selected by the panel of judges on their performance in class teaching.

 The vidyalaya level Science Exhibition was conducted in the school on 26/08/2010 in the Biology & Chemistry Lab. The projects were displayed by the students of class VI to XII on the basis of six themes, namely: Biodiversity: Conservation and Substenance, Agriculture and Technology, Green Energy, Transport and Communication, Community Health and Environment & Mathematical Modelling. Mr. M.L. Beniwal, Principal visited the exhibition and motivated the students. The models of following students, Pawan X, Shrawan IX, Rashmi X, Pawan XI, Dharmendra XI and Rajbhawan XII under six themes were selected for Regional Level Science Exhibition, Jaipur by the panel of judges.

PTA Meeting:

A Parent Teacher Association meeting was conducted in the Vidyalaya for class I to XII on 26/08/2010 where parents interacted with the principal, class teachers and subject teachers to seek out the progress of their ward & they also enjoyed the vidyalaya level Science Exhibition on that day.

Poster Making Competition:

 The poster making competition was organized in the vidyalaya campus on 21/08/2010 under the three themes as Raksha Bandhan, Teacher’s Day and Our Environment. The winner of poster making competition were Sankalp Sagar, X (senior level) and Smita, VII (junior level).

Independence Day:

 Independence day was celebrated on 15.08.2010 in the vidyalaya in a befitting manner. Col. Virendra Dhatwalia, 19 Mech Inf, Jalipa Cantt or Chairman, VMC was the Chief Guest of the function. Col. Virendra Dhatwalia hosted the National flag and took solute of the parade of four houses followed by M.P.T & various cultural programs.

House Display Board Competition:

 A House Display Board Competition was conducted on 12/08/2010 under the three theme ‘Independence Day’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Sadhbhawna Diwas’. In this competition Raman house secured 1st, Ashoka & Tagore house secured 2nd and Shastri house secured 3rd position.

Hindi Extempore:

Hindi Extempore was organized for class VI to XII in the vidyalaya campus on 31/07/2010 in a planned manner. The topics were quite relevant & interesting. The winners were Garima, IX A for junior section & Mahendra Ratnoo, XII A for secondary section.

VMC Meeting:

A meeting of VMC was conducted on 29/07/2010. The meeting was headed by the Chairman, VMC, Col. Virender Dhatwalia, 19 Mech. Inf. Jalipa Cantt.

Skit Competition:

The skit competition was organized in the vidyalaya campus on 24/07/2010. The skits were related to issues like gender, population, health & education etc. The winner of skit competition was Tagore house.

English Spelling Contest:

An English Spelling contest was organized for class VI to XII in the vidyalaya campus on 17/07/2010. This contest was consists of various rounds & the students take part in it with great interest. The program was coordinated by Sh. Shriman Meena, Sh. Sunil More and Ms. Somesh Matoria. The winner of English Spelling contest was Tagore house.

World Population Day:

The National Population Stabilization a Movement was organized in the vidyalaya campus in the second week of July in right spirit and befitting manner. Various activities were organized like Debate Competition, Essay Writing, Painting & Photography Competitions.

English and Hindi Calligraphy Competition:

An English and Hindi Calligraphy Competition were organized for class I to XII on 26/06/2010.

The Annual Day Function 2010 was celebrated on 22 April 2010. Lt. Col. T.K. Ray was the Chief Guest and Mrs S. Dhatwalia was the Guest of Honour. The programme was started with Namaz, Shabad, Mahishasur Mardini and followed by action dance of primary students, Hindi & English Skit, Mere Dholna (Classical), Tribal Dances of Rajasthan, Dresses of India and All is Well Dance. Mrs. S. Dhatwalia gave away the prizes to meritorious students. All the items were prepared under the expert guidance of Mr. Dushyant Tripathi, Music Teacher and staff members of the vidyalaya. Mr. Mahendra Kalra and Mr. Sunil Dadhich coordinated the programme.

The farewell and blessing party of class XII students was conducted by class XI students on 20/02/2010 at Vidyalaya campus. Various cultural programs were organized by class XI students.

A surprise visit of the vidyalaya was held on 08/02/2010 by Honorable Education Officer, KVS (RO), Jaipur, Sh. N.K. Bhardwaj to observe and inspect the all round activities going in the vidyalaya.

61th Republic Day was celebrated on 26/01/2010. Col. Virendra Dhatwalia, C.O., 19 Mech Inf, Jalipa Cantt or Chairman, VMC was the Chief Guest of the function. Col. Virendra Dhatwalia hosted the National flag & said that as true Indian, we can serve our nation by doing our duties and responsibilities in proper way.

VMC Meeting:

A meeting of VMC was conducted on 23/12/2009. The meeting was headed by the Chairman, VMC, Col. Virender Dhatwalia, 19 Mech. Inf. Jalipa Cantt.

Parents Meeting:

A PTA meeting was conducted in the Vidyalaya for class I to XII on 21/12/2009. Around 250 parents visited the Vidyalaya to meet the principal, class teachers and subject teachers of their ward.
